Trying to come back!

Hello everyone, sorry I've not been posting. Seems like life is quite busy for me lately, my granddaughter, her husband and 2 year old have come to stay with me awhile. It was good
for them to be here while I was recovering from my surgery!

I have been painting! Here's some steps of the one I'm working on right now. I have another step done but haven't taken a picture yet.

Out of Pocket

Hello everyone, I had back surgery yesterday. I'm doing well, very sore from the incision,
but the numbness and pain that drove me to that point is gone! I hope forever.

So.... no artwork to report right now.

I'm posting some recent work now... This is Garden of Roses. This is the one I did right before I did the last one. This is a full sheet watercolor and what a challenge it was too!

Hello! I've started a watercolor class online! People are ordering my book, and I've started a yahoo group for this. It's called WatercolorLessonsbyCia and I'd love to get more folks involved.
It's free but I ask for a donation via Paypal, most folks are donating $30 and that's a good amount to use, and if you want to join us, my Paypal ID is watercolorist@artmaker.com. The book is shown on my site at artmaker.com. You can order it via Paypal or send an online bank draft from that site, or just mail in your payment. It's $15 + 4.60 postage in the U.S. I'd have to check on
it if outside the country.

Right now we are working on a rose. OH! Almost forgot! I have uploaded movie clips for the group to YouTube, at http://www.youtube.com/ArtmakerMeToday if you want to see them.
Some I did are too big and I've uploaded them to my site at cecilia-antoinette-price.com but I have to send you those URLs at this point. They are not available from the front page yet.

Back from a 3 month absence!

Hello! I took some time off. I cannot say why I did it, it seems that my muse was gone.
But I've done 3 paintings recently, and here they are. First this is a white rose, mostly. A friend of mine allowed me to use her photo reference, and this is how it came out. It's a half sheet.

Next, I did a painting of hollyhocks, by far, my favorite flower, since I have grown them for many years, not including the last 2 years when I've mostly been growing weeds, and helping with a great-grandson during the day.

I'm working on another hollyhocks one, it is proving to be very HARD.
